Sammi and Ethan met a few days before starting college at Oklahoma State when their sorority and fraternity were paired for a coke date. We were quickly in the same friend group all of freshman year and then started sophomore year as just friends which eventually turned into FINALLY dating and a lot of people telling us I told you so! If you ask each of us exactly how it all unfolded you get two very different stories but one thing is the same, we were best friends first and each others favorite person. After we started dating we figured out there were a lot of invisible strings that connected us while we grew up just 45 minutes down the road from each other, we think God always wanted us to cross paths and it just so happened we finally did in Stillwater, Oklahoma! We started dating February 17, 2018 and have experienced so many life changing moments together, after we graduated college in May 2021 we packed our bags and moved to Austin, Texas! After we were there a year and a half we wanted to be back near our families and our best friends, so we made the move back to DFW. Then a year after being back here and 4.5 years later Ethan FINALLY popped the question on New Years Eve 2023! Since being engaged weve welcomed Goose, our bernedoodle to our little family! We feel so blessed to get to experience all these events together and cant wait to start our lives together as THE BECKHAMS!
